A tall elegant wildflower with fern like foliage and lace like flower heads. Highly poisonous plant with a history of medicinal uses. A narcotic plant used to sedate and also relieve pain. Habitat mainly damp soils, woodland edges and waste ground. Some seed can remain dormant for up to 3-5 years in the ground.
