Magnificent red petioles with a dark green waxy leaf for ornamental or culinary use. Harvested small at the baby leaf stage for salads or left to mature. Very popular for micro greens. Sow late spring onwards 1 cm deep, 35 cm between rows. RHS Award of Garden Merit.

Basic Information
Rheum rhaponticum Rhubarb Basic Sowing information: Sow February to May in drills 2.5cm deep, thin to 25cm apart. Planting out in their final position during the following winter. Do not harvest until second year after planting.
