Squash Black Futsu 15 seeds
A traditional favourite and a Japanese delicacy, turns orange when fully mature. The bumpy skin develops as it matures and has a bluish bloom on the surface. The flesh is firm and a bright orange colour with a unique fruity flavour. The skin is thin and edible. Fruits are ready approximately 55 days after fruit has set. Can be harvested when dark green almost black or at the orange stage, pick before hard frosts. Cucurbita moschata

Basic Information
Cucurbita pepomaxima Basic Sowing information: Sow indoors early spring onwards into blocks/pots or modules harden off before transplanting into final position. Sowing in situ sow 2 seeds per station after last frosts, thinning to the strongest one. Squash are best eaten at the immature stage such as a courgette, they should ideally be picked a few days after flower bloom, when the fruits are young and tender. Most popular as mini veg.
