Spinacia oleracea Basic Sowing information: Sow Early to late spring for summer crops and late summer onwards for winter / spring crops protect with cloche for late crops. Sow in shallow drills 1cm deep, thin to 15cm apart and 30cm between rows.Spinach has become more popular due to it being full of nutrients and an excellent choice for babyleaf vegetables. Grow at closer density for baby leaf and harvest young.
