This series of the Castor Oil Plant is ideal for use as a specimen plant in borders, grows up to 150cm. The leaves are an intense dark brown to green. The bright red flower buds and seed pods appear early enough to make a highly attractive exotic eye catcher. It is of great decorative value whether it is planted individually or in groups. As the plants branch well, the free flowering lateral shoots with the leaves can be used for flower arrangements. Similar colouring to Ricinus Communis Impala castor oil seeds. A superior form of 'Gibsonii'. NOTE Seeds are poisonous.
