French heirloom from the 1800's originated in the town of Eysines. The heavily warted fruits have salmon coloured skin, it is also known as peanut squash or peanut pumpkin due to the warts looking like peanut shells. Best harvested at maturity to prevent cracking, ideal for soups and stews. Fruits weigh 6 - 8kg. Cucurbita maxima 95 days.

Basic Information
