Perilla Shiso bi coloured an eye catching Oriental vegetable, Japanese herb with green leaves and red undersides. Use in micro and salad mixtures, larger leaves are used as sushi wraps and plate garnishes. Larger leaved than the red or green Shiso. Sow spring indoors with bottom heat on the compost surface transplant early summer, outdoors sow early summer plant out at 30cm apart. Can be sown summer transplanted autumn in greenhouse harvest winter/spring.
