Basic Sowing Information for the Species Common/Latin Name: Himalayan poppy Type: Hardy perennial Temperature: 15-18°C Cover: Lightly Cover with vermiculite or compost Date: Sow Dec. to June Advice: Sow winter in cold frame for 6 weeks, keep compost moist, then place in gentle heat at 15-18°C for germination.
