Bionda A Foglia Liscia is an early cut and come again variety from Italy, produces tender, small, smooth leaves that look a lot like Lambs Tongue. It is quick to grow and is best sown little and often from march to October for harvesting April to November (green variety).

Basic Information
Lactuca sativa Basic Sowing information: Lettuce Seeds 700-1,000 per gram. Start sowing early spring making successional sowings every 2 weeks until August for a continual supply of salad leaf. Sow as thinly as possible in rows 30cm apart, thin out to 20-30cm apart. Earlier sowings can be made from early January under glass. Pick leaves young for baby salad leaf. Salad leaf mixtures from supermarkets are expensive, pick your own direct from the garden.
