Very slow growing the leaves are used raw in salads and can be cropped all year from successional sowings and with some protection during winter in colder climates. Best sown July to end of November, protect from frost, give protection for late sowings. (For baby leaf it can be sown every 2 weeks from April). Harvest Lambs Lettuce when 3 to 4 leaves have formed.
