Echinacea purpurea
First year flowering perennial producing large Berry coloured flowers with a much improved habit to other Echinacea's height in first year 40-50cm then 56-61cm in second year. Excellent border plant. Sow January (for first year flowering) grow on warm through spring and plant will flower during summer. Sow July to September and then over winter to flower early summer the following year. Plant out after last frosts in your area, 30 to 45cm apart in well drained soil in full sun.
