Cress Polycress 10 gram
Polycress is quick to mature with an upright habit producing large dissected mildly pungent leaves in approx 25 days from sowing, ideal baby leaf indoor or outdoor sowings. Sow March to Sept at 3 week intervals, sow thinly 1cm deep in drills 30cm apart. Best suited for outdoor growing in moist well drained soil. Thin seedlings to 5cm apart. Harvest as required, picking a few leaves from each plant. Can also be grown in sprouters, sow indoors all year round in pots or trays on kitchen roll or compost on a windowsill. Sow in succession for baby salad leaves. Polycress is slow to bolt if kept well watered, baby leaf an excellent garnish to any dish. Av 380 seeds per gram.

Lepidium sativum Basic Sowing information: Sow all year Harvest 7-10 days after sowing for sprouts For continuous sowing. A salad vegetable for the window sill or garden. Indoors can be sown in compost in small punnets, on soaked tissue paper or on a saucer being kept wet at all times, do not pre-soak seeds.
