AKA Tromba D'Albenga
Italian courgette from Liguria that is both ornamental and vegetable, a climbing courgette ideal for trellis, archways and even hanging baskets. Fruits have a long meaty neck that is all flesh and bulbous shape at the end containing the seeds. Fruits are best harvested at approx 30cm long, but larger fruits still taste as good. Sow from March to July.

Cucurbita maxima Vegetable Marrow Basic Sowing information: Sow from April to early June 18-21°C singly, edge on, 1.25cm deep, in pots. Plant out after last frost. Space plants up to 1m apart. Feed weekly and keep well watered. Can be grown early or late under glass to extend the growing period. Courgette flowers are also widely used
