A dwarf white longpod suitable for Autumn sowing. Early heavy cropping variety producing clusters of short pods with 6-8 beans per pod. Ideal for exposed situations and also the smaller garden due to its size. Sow from Nov to April. Height approx 45cm. RHS Award of Garden Merit Recommended variety by River Cottage Handbook Veg Patch.

General Information
Vicia faba General Sowing information: Sow seed in situ 7cm deep 23cm apart each way. Can be grown in double rows, allow minimum 60cm between rows. Keep the plants weed free and well watered. Prefer rich, fertile soil. Harvest June to September. Pinch out the tops (these may be cooked) after 5 flowers have formed this will help to deter black fly and encourage side shoots.
