Agastache foeniculum Giant Hyssop
Anise has blue/pink flower spikes. Anise Hyssop leaves can be added to salads, used in a medicine for coughs, a tea can be made from it used in Chinese medicine. A superb border plant flowering in July and August also used in dried flower arrangements. Very much in demand in the cut flower market. In North America it was widely planted by bee keepers to produce Honey which had an aniseed flavour. Grow in well drained soil in full sun will tolerate poor soil. Sow seed in spring indoors / under glass can take up to 4 months to germinate. Hardy Perennial
