Lettuce seeds for salads and salad leaf mixtures, supermarkets salad leaf mixtures are expensive, they are easy to grow from seed and you can pick your own fresh leaves from the garden, choose from our large range.
Start sowing lettuce seeds early spring making successional sowings until mid summer, sowing as late as November under cover for winter varieties
Sow as thinly as possible in rows 30cm apart, thin out to 20-30cm apart. Earlier sowings can be made from early January under glass. Pick leaves young for baby salad leaf.
