An ornamental variety that is fast growing, uniform and early to
fruit. Fruits grow upwards, heavy cropping, compact habit with conical
white fruits maturing to red.
Trinidad Scorpion 'Butch T' strain Capsicum chinense
Originating from Trinidad this scorpion is the pure strain, it was
tested at over 1,460,000 SHU, making it hotter than the Bhut Jolokia.
Trinidad Scorpion Morouga Strain
C.chinense
Bred from the Trinidad Scorpion, it is thought to be a lot hotter than the
scorpion and now in its third generation from selective breeding.
Fruits ripen from green to red. The pods are wrinkled and larger than the
Butch T. One of the worlds hottest chilli peppers.

Bubblegum 7
Capsicum chinense
Trinidad yellow 7 pot crossed with Trinidad Scorpion Morouga, bred in the UK, it has a unique flavour that is
reported to be fruity and similar to bubblegum. A red large podded chilli that is extremely hot.
Germination rate of the current harvest is approx 50% and
erratic, hence it is reflected in the price of this superhot chilli.
Trinidad Congo Black Capsicum chinense
Trinidad Congo Black - originates from Trinidad and is a habanero type,
pods are a richer darker brown and larger than the Chocolate habanero.
Fruits ripen to a rich dark brown. Plants up to 1m high and require
staking. Growing conditions can affect the slightly smoky flavour of the
pods.
Trinidad Congo Yellow Capsicum chinense
Trinidad Congo yellow, in Trinidad habanero pepper relatives are called Congo peppers.
Large globe shaped fruits 2 inches long & wide they have a fruity / nutty
flavour with not quite as much heat as Congo red or black. Heavy cropping
plants, the fruits mature from green to golden yellow. Plants can grow up to 1m in
height and fruits left on the plants to fully mature turn orange.

Trinidad Scorpion Red Hot Chilli Pepper - Capsicum chinense
The Trinidad Scorpion Chilli it has been stated these chillies are as hot as the Naga Morich or Bhut Jolokia. The chillies ripen from green through orange to red. The skin is similar to the Bhut or Bih jolokia being slightly
wrinkled and the peppers sometimes have a small tail, this is where they get the name Scorpion from. The Trinidad Scorpion has a slightly fruity flavour. Seed of this variety is scarce and we only have a small quantity available.

Trinidad Scorpion Orange Hot Chilli Pepper - Capsicum chinense
Trinidad Scorpion Orange a nice hot chilli with a scorpion flavour, possibly a cross between a scorpion and a Congo. The
Orange Scorpion
chilli was found by a local grower in Europe amongst a field of scorpions back in
2007. Fantastic flavour with more heat than the Congo peppers. Heavy
cropping plants with light green foliage can grow to a height of approx
1m. Pods ripen from light green to light orange, most pods will look
similar to the Congo yellow chillies, slightly wrinkled and some will have
the scorpion tail.
Trinidad Scorpion Yellow Hot Chilli Pepper - Capsicum chinense
Trinidad Scorpion yellow. A yellow version of this mean looking chilli,
it has a sweeter fruitier flavour and massive heat. Due to the sweetness
the heat is held back longer than the red version and the flavour more
noticeable. Ideal for yellow salsas and sauces.
Trinidad 7 Pot Jonah

The 7 pot Jonah is a larger version of the Trinidad 7 Pot. It has a fruity
type flavour when you can get past the heat. It averages between 800,000
to 1,000,000 Scoville units. So it is just as hot as the Bhut Jolokia
and depending on growing conditions may be even hotter. Like the 7 Pot
it gets bumpy and wrinkly and can produce different shapes. Sometimes
will even get a little scorpion tail. Height 1m, pods mature from light
green to dark red.

The 7 pot Jonah Yellow is a cross variety from Trinidad. It looks like
a large elongated Scotch Bonnet and being yellow is one of the milder
of the super hot chillies.

The Trinidad red 7 Pot Chilli got its name from 1 pod having enough heat to flavour 7 pots of stew. Rumoured to have as much heat as the Bhut Jolokia and the same wrinkled surface. Seed of this variety is scarce and we only have a

Trinidad Yellow 7 Pot or 7 Pod Hot Chilli Pepper - Capsicum chinense
The Trinidad yellow 7 Pot Chilli
Pods are very hot, they can weigh up to 15 grams or more and have a lovely fruity flavour.
They mature from green through to yellow or even orange if left on the
plant to fully mature. Not quite as much heat as the red 7 pot but still
very very hot, most yellow varieties of chillies are not as hot as their
red counterparts. Seed of this variety is scarce and we only have a
small quantity available. Yellow 7 pot can produce pods of different
shapes such as scotch bonnet or even scorpion tail, with a wrinkled skin
or even sometimes smooth. Caution very hot pepper.

The traditional pepper of Tunisia, a small country on the famed Barbary Coast. Large red, tapering pods have a wonderful hot flavour, but tend to get more mild with cooking. Delicious flavour that is perfect with couscous, and
other wonderful North African dishes.

Christmas Bell, peppers ripen from green to red with a medium heat and unique shaped pods. Ubatuba chilli originated in Brazil and is named after the 2 cities Ubatuba Cambuc where it is found.
Vietnamese Tear Jerker Capsicum frutescens
Variety from Vietnam, small hot peppers that will have you in tears. Heavy yields of very hot peppers 3cm long by 0.5cm wide. Fruits turn from green to orange through to red at maturity. Plant height 100cm, 95

The cultural
information should be used as a guide only, I have found a number of different
sowing techniques for the same seed from different sources there does not seem
to be a standard. With this in mind you should use this website as a guide only,
you probably already have a tried and tested way of sowing different seeds. As a
rule of thumb the larger the seed size the more cover it requires, and fine seed
like Lobelia Begonia etc requires no cover.
