| Hibiscus Mahogany Splendor 90-150cm Hibiscus acetosella Deep burgundy, maple shaded leaves with serrated edges, this plant really makes a statement adding height and colour to any garden. Drought tolerant and heat resistant perfect for any sunny position. This plant can also be used as a pond plant. Greenhouse grown plants will have a green rust tones, but will mature to full colour once outdoors in full sun. Height 90-150cm

| Hibiscus Red Shield Hibiscus acetosella A good subject for mixed bedding, a dot plant with a bushy habit, deep red leaves that will complement other species. Will produce small red flowers in warmer climates or in a very sheltered sunny spot.

The cultural information should be used as a guide only, I have found a number of different sowing techniques for the same seed from different sources there does not seem to be a standard. With this in mind you should use this website as a guide only, you probably already have a tried and tested way of sowing different seeds. As a rule of thumb the larger the seed size the more cover it requires, and fine seed like Lobelia Begonia etc requires no cover.
