| Melinis Nerviglumis - Savannah 45cm Annual Ornamental Grass. Savannah is an excellent filler plant for mixed pots and containers. It produces tight clumps of soft blue-green foliage growing 25cm wide. Ruby-pink flowers mature to creamy white. In autumn foliage turns to purple-red.

| Millet Limelight
90-150cm Setaria italica Ornamental millet, ideal as a cut and dried flower subject. Vibrant lime coloured leaves, plant is uniform in height, flower size and flowering time. Lush and self supporting plants even under severe conditions. Plants mature in 10-13 weeks.

Millet F1 Purple Majesty
1.2-1.5m Pennisetum glaucum Ornamental millet with deep purple foliage, stems and flowers. When planted outside the foliage turns purple. Produces one to three main stems with cat tail like flower plumes 30-35cm long. Striking backdrop, architectural plant and an excellent choice for borders and large planting schemes.

Millet F1 Jester 108cm Pennisetum glaucum Ornamental millet. Young leaves are green, maturing to burgundy red. Developing plants show a definite multi colour appearance as leaves mature. Produces flower spikes at the end of the season.

Millet Purple Baron 90cm Pennisetum glaucum Ornamental millet. Young plants are green, the stem and mid rib of the foliage starts to turn purple after approx 8 leaves have formed. As plants mature outdoors the foliage turns dark purple. Large thick flower spikes are produced through summer.

The cultural information should be
used as a guide only, I have found a number of different sowing techniques for
the same seed from different sources there does not seem to be a standard. With
this in mind you should use this website as a guide only, you probably already
have a tried and tested way of sowing different seeds. As a rule of thumb the
larger the seed size the more cover it requires, and fine seed like Lobelia
Begonia etc requires no cover.
