Carnation Mini Spice Mixed Mini Spice is an early dwarf Pot Carnation but also performs well in borders and beds, having strong basal branching. The mixture is a blend of several colours including reds, whites, yellows, coral, crimson, scarlet and blush with some being extra fragrant, especially the white and red. Flowers in May from a September sowing and June/July from a January/February sowing. Ideal Carnation/Plant for 10cm pot culture. For a good mixture of colours the larger packet or Bulk seed is required.

The cultural information should be
used as a guide only, I have found a number of different sowing techniques for
the same seed from different sources there does not seem to be a standard. With
this in mind you should use this website as a guide only, you probably already
have a tried and tested way of sowing different seeds. As a rule of thumb the
larger the seed size the more cover it requires, and fine seed like Lobelia
Begonia etc requires no cover.
