Salvia Perennial seeds

Salvia sclarea var. Turkestanica alba
90cm Strong erect stems are topped with plumes of white and lime-green bracts, which have a maroon underside, a tall structural plant ideal for borders. Sow January to March or June to July to over winter frost free.

Salvia Blue Queen
30cm S.superba Dark violet flowers are produced from June to September on uniform compact plants. An outstanding dwarf selection. Can also be grown as an annual.

Rose Queen 60cm S.superba A sister line to Blue Queen but a lot taller in habit producing beautiful long rose spikes. Plants are pleasantly aromatic.

The cultural
information should be used as a guide only, I have found a number
of different sowing techniques for the same seed from different
sources there does not seem to be a standard. With this in mind
you should use this website as a guide only, you probably already
have a tried and tested way of sowing different seeds. As a rule
of thumb the larger the seed size the more cover it requires, and
fine seed like Lobelia Begonia etc requires no cover.
