60-90cm Salvia maroccana Excellent bedding plant producing a mass of distinct arching spikes bearing numerous beak like flowers, in a soft powdery lilac.

Purple Volcano 20-25cm Salvia Lyrata An impressive foliage plant with purple bronze rosettes. The colour of the foliage intensifies from late summer into autumn to a deep purple. Small violet blue flowers grown mainly as a foliage subject. An ideal border plant, container plant and for landscaping. Sow February to June at 20°C.

| Salvia Patens Blue Angel S.Patens 70cm Half Hardy Perennial grown as an annual. Definitely one for the collector of beautiful plants. Having large intense rich blue tubular flowers. Flowers mid summer to mid autumn. Ideal for summer pots and containers, the annual and tender perennial flower border. Hardy in very mild locations, position in a warm location in full sun. Sow on the compost surface from February to end of May. An ideal companion to Begonias, Pentas, Tithonias and Rudbeckias.

The cultural
information should be used as a guide only, I have found a number
of different sowing techniques for the same seed from different
sources there does not seem to be a standard. With this in mind
you should use this website as a guide only, you probably already
have a tried and tested way of sowing different seeds. As a rule
of thumb the larger the seed size the more cover it requires, and
fine seed like Lobelia Begonia etc requires no cover.
