Victory Carpet 5cm spread 40cm This strain has been selected for early flowering and best leaf colour. It will flower as early as May from a January sowing. The leaves have a conspicuous V-mark of deep red on a dark green base. Suitable for ground cover and excellent in hanging baskets. It will flower until the frosts. Spread is up to 40cm.

| Porphyrocoma Maracas Brazilian Fireworks
15-20cm Porphyrocoma Maracas a heat loving tropical plant with unusual long lasting purple and pink bicoloured flowers and attractive variegated foliage. Heat loving plant ideal for pots, containers, houseplant and hot shaded borders, flowers all summer. Grow above 18C to prevent leaves yellowing. Sowing to flowering approx 20 weeks, the warmer it is the faster it blooms. Shade plant.

Tequila Mixed Sun plant, Sun Rose, Moss Rose, a hot summer survivor. Tequila mixed the low growing spreading plants tolerate the cool wet outdoor conditions well. Excellent garden performance flowering from late spring to late summer, in a designer mixture of strong bold colours.

The cultural information should be used
as a guide only, I have found a number of different sowing techniques for the
same seed from different sources there does not seem to be a standard. With this
in mind you should use this website as a guide only, you probably already have a
tried and tested way of sowing different seeds. As a rule of thumb the larger
the seed size the more cover it requires, and fine seed like Lobelia Begonia etc
requires no cover.
