Fennel Flower an aromatic culinary and medicinal herb. Sometimes known as Nutmeg flower it is not a true fennel. The seed is used raw or cooked for flavorings in pickles, curries and bread. Used medicinally both internal and externally. The seed contains essential oils and can be used to repel moths and as an air freshener. Grow in a sunny position in the garden, sow seed in situ autumn or spring in colder areas sow spring.
