Chinese Wolfberry, Chinese Boxthorn, matrimony vine
A medium growing deciduous shrub, the bark, fruit and root used in Chinese medicine. The fruit is used raw or cooked and should only be consumed when ripe. The leaves can be used as a tea substitute and the seeds roasted as an alternative for coffee.
