Shantung Maple
A deciduous small sized easy growing tree that should make a good Bonsai. Leaves in spring are a red/purple colouring, green in summer and then turning yellow/orange to purple in the fall. It is said to have the roughest bark of all the maples. An elegant maple when in flower and during the fall
