Box elder, Ash-leaved maple
A fast growing ornamental deciduous tree, leaves turn yellow in autumn. Yellow green flowers in drooping racemes from April until May and are pollinated by bees. Sugar can be produced from the sap and a tea can be made from the inner bark. Makes a good bee plant.
