Yarrow leaves are used raw or cooked, best used when young, ideal addition in mixed salads. The flowers and leaves are used to make an aromatic tea. Uses medicinal, herbal dyestuffs, aromatic and culinary. Magical herb with the powers of love, courage, exorcism and psychic powers. Sow autumn and spring. Yarrow prefers a well drained site in a sunny position, will tolerate some shade.
