Centranthus ruber - Jupiters Beard, Pretty Betsy, Delicate Bess.
Ornamental, scented flowers during June to September attractive to butterflies. Young leaves can be used raw or coked as a vegetable, or in salads. Sow February to May in situ and cover lightly. Grow in well drained soil in full sun. Grows well in coastal areas.

General Sowing information: Herb seeds can be sown from early spring onwards, when the ground has warmed up they can be direct sown. All herbs come complete with germination instructions.
