Pale pink flowers vanilla scented. Common Valerian is used for insomnia, hysteria it calms the nerves, relieves pain and also known to lower blood pressure. Used for a herbal tea and as a flavouring to sweets and drinks. Magical herb with the powers of protection, sleep, love and purification. Habitat damp grassland, woods, and scrub land. Grow in full sun or partial shade and prefers a moist soil.
