Origanum majorana
In sheltered position and warm areas can be a hardy perennial. Strong sweet aromatic flavour. Small grey leaves and white flowers up the stem. Sweet Marjoram is a volatile herb so must be added at the end of cooking to keep flavour. Magical powers include health, happiness, love, money and protection.

General Sowing information: Herb seeds can be sown from early spring onwards, when the ground has warmed up they can be direct sown. All herbs come complete with germination instructions.
