Good King Henry is also known as Mercury and Lincolnshire spinach. Easily grown having juicy arrow shaped leaves. Rich in iron, calcium, vitamins B and C. Young leaves and shoots used as spinach and the roots blanched and eaten like asparagus. Can be used as animal fodder.
General Sowing information: Herb seeds can be sown from early spring onwards, when the ground has warmed up they can be direct sown. All herbs come complete with germination instructions.
