Eschscholzia californica - California Poppy, Gold Poppy, kaliforniya Hashasi
Single orange flowers from July to September on this very ornamental mildly narcotic herb. Californian poppy is noted for attracting wildlife. Medicinal uses include a sedative, used to treat anxiety, insomnia and incontinence. The whole plant is harvested for use. Sow Eschscholzia in situ from spring to summer, grow in well drained soil in full sun.
General Sowing information: Herb seeds can be sown from early spring onwards, when the ground has warmed up they can be direct sown. All herbs come complete with germination instructions.
