Coffea arabica nana - Coffee, Arabian Coffee

Position in filtered light, light shade maintaining a minimum night temperature of approx 15 deg C and day temps of 20 deg C + Plants can be pinched back or pruned to maintain an acceptable size and potted in free draining compost. Yellowing of leaves is a sign of being pot bound. Fertilize monthly during winter and every 2 weeks throughout the growing season. Best sown 2 seeds to a 7cm pot, pre soak overnight and the outer parchment shell should be carefully removed and seed sown just below the compost surface, keep compost moist but not wet throughout germination, which is slow up to 50+ days and erratic so do not discard pots too early. This is surely worth a try for something different.

General Sowing information: Herb seeds can be sown from early spring onwards, when the ground has warmed up they can be direct sown. All herbs come complete with germination instructions.
