Tacca chantrierei
Tacca chantrierei Green Isle, Bat Plant or Devils Flower. An intriguing plant where the eyes in the flowers appear to follow you around the room. An unusual variety with light green, long tentacles up to 30cm and intriguing dusky green blooms.

Advice: Sow in propagator do not exclude light. Keep compost surface moist but not water logged. Germination 1 to 9 months. Pot on in 7cm pots of good quality compost containing some grit. Shade from direct sun and water & mist spray regularly during growing season. Grow plants at a consistent temp of approx 25°C Flowers in 2- 3 years
