Capsicum bacatum
Aji Amarillo produces 10cm long by 2.5 cm thick hot peppers on plants up to 60cm tall. This strain produces peppers that ripen from green to yellow and finally to orangey red. The peppers are used dried, ground into powder, used as spice and used a lot in Peruvian dishes.
