Ocimum basilicum
A Medium leaf variety, excellent for fresh use in salads, pesto's, on tomatoes, and added at the last minute to soups. The flavour is mild and sweet, with a spicy cinnamon-clove note that gives this basil an elegant twist. This is possibly the leading variety for dried leaf production. Ideal for Micro Greens & Baby Leaf Herbs.
General Sowing Information: Sow at closer denesity than normal, harvest when leaves are young and tender. Many varieties are cut and come again, successional sowings throughout the growing season will ensure a continuous supply of salad leaf.
