A guide to producing a
fuchsia hanging basket These are best
produced from new plants. Select the size of
basket you require and as a guide :- Add slow release
fertilizer and water retention granules to your basket. The best baskets
are produced using one type of fuchsia. The fuchsia should
be stopped at 3 pairs of leaves prior to planting up the
basket. Plant all the
fuchsia at an angle of aprox 45 degrees over the rim of
the basket. Pinch out the side
shoots at 3 pairs of leaves and continue untill you have
pinched out at least 3 times. Feed the basket
little and often as this will produce better results than
feeding once a week even if you have added slow release
fertilizer. Download this article (2kb) This is a guide only, we
